About GreenLungs

GreenLungs is on a mission to plant One Billion Trees through a plantation-model that has common citizens at the center of its existence – wherein people can crowd-fund our plantation activities. We wish to create green assets that will eventually be managed by the local communities.

Our fundamental belief is that the most people want to plant trees however lack of land, time and expertise are a hindrance – and GreenLungs solves each of these problems.

Our approach is simple – provide people with a digital platform whereby they can donate small amounts and plant trees in the memory or celebration of their loved ones. Most of these donated trees will be indigenous fruit- trees which will make these forests self-survive after 3-5 years.

As a legal entity, we are a social enterprise registered under section-8 of the Companies Act.
